NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management

Course Outline

Suitable For:

The NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management- Building & Civil Engineering (Construction) is the official vocational qualification suitable for site- based construction managers or assistant site managers who have experience in the construction industry. 

Entry Requirements:

Extensive experience in the management of construction sites is essential to achieving this qualification. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they can meet the requirements of this qualification before registration through our initial assessment process.

Duration:

The average qualification completion time is 4-6 months

The period of the course will significantly depend on the candidates’ interest, motivation and availability.

To achieve this qualification, all candidates will be assessed via OSAT (On-Site Assessment and Training) or remote assessments which will take place at the learners’ workplace.

Candidates will be allocated an expert assessor who will support them during the course and carry out all the necessary assessment procedures required to successfully complete the qualification.

The assessment process will consist of a range of communication methods and evidence collection processes tailored around the individual learner needs. Evidence is gathered by means of videos, photographs, On-site assessments, observations, written questions, workplace documents, professional discussions and witness testimonies.  Your assessor will support you throughout the process.

Upon successfully completion of the course, you will be awarded a Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management – Building & Civil Engineering (Construction). You can apply for a black CSCS card using your NVQ Diploma along with a valid CITB Health and Safety Test which must be achieved within the last two years.

NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management

Course Outline

Suitable For:

NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management is suitable for experienced senior project managers, decision makers and company directors within the construction industry.

Entry Requirements:

Extensive experience in construction project management at senior level is essential to achieving this qualification. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they can meet the requirements of this qualification before registration through our initial assessment process.

The average qualification completion time is 6-12 months

The period of the course will significantly depend on the candidates’ interest, motivation and availability.
